OBSERVATIONS
OBSERVATION OF MY RESULTS:
Before reading all the information that I rode out, I have normal results except the results given with ethyl acetate, and from the results, knowledge and data from the internet, I lead to different possible ideas that could happen:
The first idea is that maybe Ethyl acetate has a weaker permanent dipole-dipole force compared with Methyl acetate, however this cannot be possible due to the fact that Ethyl acetate has a higher boiling point than Methyl acetate.
The second idea and the most possible idea is that during the experiment, maybe me and my partner committed a mistake, and we could have possibly used a used capillary for Methyl acetate, so that would alter the results ruining part of the experiment, because if we use a capillary with some liquid remaining of another solution and we add the Methyl acetate, it would be more volume, so in that way it could gave a higher result than the real.
The third idea is that maybe, Ethyl acetate molecules have a relation with glass molecules so instead of being adhesive forces, they are more cohesive and this can cause that variation in the results, however when all of the other solutions are acetates, and they have adhesive forces with glass, I suppose that Ethyl is not the exception.
